BROOKE OCEAN TECHNOLOGY LTD. SELLS MOVING VESSEL PROFILER 30 (MVP30™) SYSTEM TO SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (SAIC)

MVP30(tm) Overboarding SheaveBrooke Ocean Technology Limited is pleased to announce the sale of the first Moving Vessel profiler 30 (MVP30™) system the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) of Newport, Rhode Island, USA.

The MVP30™ is designed to be a lightweight version of the larger systems that make up the MVP™ family. The system includes a computer controlled smart winch, overboarding sheave system and free-fall fish that houses an Applied Microsystems Sound Velocity and Pressure (SV&P) Smart probe. The entire system weights less than 250 pounds.

Typical small vessel installation
The MVP30™ will allow SAIC to collect water column profiles for multibeam sounder data calibration from a vessel underway. This ability to collect underway data will make the survey operation more efficient and improve the quality of the data collected.
