New Bedford, MA – Brooke Ocean Technology Ltd (BOT), a leading manufacturer of advanced data collection platforms, launch and recovery systems, cable handling hardware, and instrumentation, is pleased to announce the opening of its US subsidiary, BOT USA Inc. This company will initially focus on the completion of ongoing US Navy SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) projects and the supply of hardware (including towed bodies, winches, and cable handling systems) and engineering services to the marine science and naval sectors. The company also has plans to expand into the Environmental sector in conjunction with BOT Canada.

The Quest Center, a completely refurbished early 20th century industrial building designed to accommodate marine science technology related companies is a collaborative partnership between the City of New Bedford, The New Bedford Economic Development Council and the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
